Let the truth in God’s word put an end to your trying and turn it to trusting. Jesus said, “Apart from me, you can do nothing”. Please believe Him. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.

Taking this journey will show you rich sequences of scripture which will provide evidence of this reality. Learning to experience this truth of “Christ as your source of life” is what the journey of a lifetime is all about. The last words given to the church by the apostle Peter were, “Grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”

All Christians have been given His strength and righteousness and through the Holy Spirit can travel this road less traveled.

I’m not the person I think I am, I’m not the person I thought I’d be, nor am I the person I ought to be, but by the grace of God I’m not the person I once was. I once was lost but now I’m found, was blind but now I see.

Now that’s not just my life story. It should be the story of all blood bought born again Christians. And if it’s not your story maybe it ought to be.

I am currently the Director of Growing in Grace Ministries. Founded on 2 Peter 3:18, which encourages us to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I was a professional speaker in the corporate world for 20 years before being called into this ministry.

In 1996, facing death from cancer, I pictured myself standing at the judgment seat of Christ “saved,” but began to realize all of the things that could have been accomplished through my life, if only I would have had more faith. That thought permeated my mind and I pleaded with God in the name of Jesus to help me grow in faith and to extend my time here on earth for God’s purpose. I asked God to teach me the deeper riches of His word and His life. God has since taught me much about how to be used as an instrument in His hands. God led me on this incredible journey of faith, and then encouraged me to share it with others. God continues to lead me on this journey to this very day.

Statement of Faith

We Believe The Bible is the inspired, the only infallible, inerrant authoritative word of God. (II Timothy 3:16 & II Peter 1:21)

We Believe There is one God, eternally existent in three persons (The Trinity) God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:26, Mathew 28:19, John 10:30)

We Believe In the virgin birth (Luke 1:26-38) in the deity of Jesus Christ (John 1:1, 14) in His sinless life (Hebrews 4:15) in His death on the cross for all our sins. (Romans 5:8-9)

We Believe All have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God, that the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. That if you confess with you mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. (Romans 3:23, 6:23, 10:9-10)

We Believe That salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life, and no one comes to the father except through him. (Acts 4:12, John 14:6)

We Believe When you accept Jesus as Redeemer, Savior and Lord of your life, you become a born again child of God, a new creation in Christ, the old is gone, the new has come. (John 3:3, 2 Corinthians 5:17)

We Believe Christianity is not a self-improvement but a self-replacement. It is Christ in you the hope of glory. The same Spirit that lived in Jesus Christ now lives in all born again believers. (Galatians 2:20, Colossians 1:27, 3:3-4)

We Believe It is only through this ministry of the indwelling Spirit of God that a believer is empowered to experience victory over the world, the flesh and the devil. (1 Corinthians 3:16)

We Believe The flesh is never eradicated in this life. Therefore we must choose to keep the flesh in subjection to Jesus Christ by walking in the Spirit and not carrying out the desires of the flesh. (Galatians 5:16-18)

We Believe Jesus died for us, to give His life to us, to live His life through us. He is the vine, we are the branches. Apart from Him we can do nothing… Amen. (John 15:5)
